You End I
por K. Menard
There are words that fall into the void of misunderstandings, an abyss of phrases kept inside an unending diary of regrets that separates us from a moment we fear we need. No writing could ever bind those shattered dreams of you and I closing the gaps between our skin, healing the scars of silences and nothingness and I wonder if you've thought of this very thing I try to immortalize. I say you'd kill it at the thought of it.
I find myself swimming inside mirrors made by my dearest enemy, diving into questions he asked me time and time again until time was no more.
I find myself erasing the infinity of doubts that kept me from sinking into the depths of my own reflection, desperate to find the other side that leads to you.
The you I want to find.
The you that is no longer.
The you of you and I.
